Porsche 944, 928 & 911 Odometer Gear Repair Kit - for MPH Only Includes 20x21, 20x22 & 20x23 Tooth Odometer Gears
The majority of the late model 944s with the VDO electronic gauge clusters use a 20x21 tooth odometer gear but a a small number use a 20 x 22 tooth gear. Additionally, some S2 cars, 911s and models with a KMH cluster will use the 20x23 tooth gear. Documentation is sparce on this so to save everyone time, we've included all gear options in one kit. Unfortunately, if the original gear is too far gone to determine the original number of teeth, you may have to experiment with each to determine the correct gear for your particular car. These gears are resin printed in a heat and wear resistant material. Much more durable than the original, OEM part. Note that each gear has either a 1, 2 or 3 embossed to identify which is which. The 21z and 22z gears have this number on the top whereas the 23z has it on the bottom. This is an easy install job that anyone can do! For install, see YouTube or various enthusiast sites.
